My Kids Can Speak Spanish in Six Weeks

Okay, maybe I’m exaggerating a bit, but they can sing! My kids started learning Spanish at the end of August for four hours per day after school for my kindergartner and two hours per day for my preschooler. It’s amazing to see their progress in just six weeks. They can speak basic phrases and respond to simple questions and commands like “take off your shoes” and “wash your hands.”
While I know singing comes a lot easier than speaking, I was impressed that my oldest daughter actually knows what she is singing about here. (This song by the way has become their new favorite. It seems to be on permanent nightly rotation at our house and unlike some kids’ music, which can grate on the nerves after more than one listen, this song is definitely one that gets my vote on high volume, even after the sixth time. My four-year-old is momentarily sulking in the background of the video, as I made them turn down the volume to successfully film the video.)
