New Year, New Giveaway

THIS CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED. We wanted to start off the New Year right and give you all some very cool things as a thank you for being part of our InCultureParent community. We have been so fortunate these past two years to have virtually met so many interesting families and we’ve continued to grow and attract new readers like you. So thank you!

We’ll be giving away three cool items, all from fellow moms raising little global citizens. The winner will get to pick which of the three they want, second runner-up picks the next item and third runner up will have the last. Here are the items so generously offered by each of our sponsors.

2. A fun outfit from Mixed Up Clothing by Sonia Kang

Mixed Up Clothing is a multiethnic children’s clothing line inspired by the textiles, cultures and people of the world, to develop friendships through fabrics. Sonia infuses ethnically diverse styles with cultural twists, blending materials and designs from all corners of the earth. The designs are inspired from her own multiethnic family of four children. You can choose an outfit for a boy or girl from her currently available collection. Please note: if you are the winner and pick this as your first choice, she can only shop domestically.

3. “The Asian Grandmothers Cookbook” by Pat Tanumihardja

This cookbook is a compilation of pan-Asian family recipes from close to 20 different Asian cultures, including her own grandmother’s and features yummy dishes like Mochiko Fried Chicken, Japanese-Style Hamburgers (Wafu Hamburgers), Chicken Coconut Soup (Tom Ka Kai), Cardamom Studded Flan and many more. It was inspired by the idea that grandmothers are the closest link we have to our cultures and traditions. You’ll also find anecdotes and stories about family, food traditions, grandmothers, mothers and aunts, and much more.
